a little guide to some pronouns featuring pokemon

Ah thank you for listing them. I keep forgetting the non-traditional ones.

And tbh I find Nounself pronouns incredibly difficult to use, so I usually ask if there’s a secondary set that said person is ok with. It has to do with a mental disability, not disrespect.

can someone explain nounself to me please ;u;

I can’t 100% explain it because I don’t really understand it myself. But basically taking a noun and making it a pronoun. Like bun/bun’s/bunself, fire/fire’s/fireself as examples. It actually sounds more like a nickname in most context tbh.

OPINIONS CAN BE RACIST

OPINIONS CAN BE SEXIST

OPINIONS CAN BE HOMOPHOBIC

stop using “it’s just my opinion” to justify your bigotry.

*glares at all the creepy ass nationalist bloggers who think that their racism is just a harmless opinion*

I’m all for having opinions, and I won’t hate on people for having them. What I will do is try to change their mind. I’ll explain why their opinion may be harmful. I’ll do what I can to try and rectify the continued hatred before it spreads on. So basically if you have a harmful and shitty opinion, I will address you directly, rather than shit on your opinion, because that does nothing. Because generally if someone says “your opinion is wrong so you’re trashy” the other person will dismiss it quicker than when discussing it like adults and trying to show them how it might be offensive.

I don’t mind using noun self pronouns. If that’s what the person is comfortable with, then I am in no place to judge.

Yes of course! I just have problems using them because of mental blocks, and will usually ask the person if they have more traditional (he/she/they) proouns so I can avoid misgendering on accident due to forgetting the nounself pronouns/ messing them up. The only pronouns I can’t use (save for a few exceptions) is it/its due to trauma that I am not getting into here.

Oh my god I’m sorry! I wasn’t trying to criticize you. If it’s mentally hard for you, I understand! I was mostly commenting on just the picture in general. I can be kind of bad at analyzing things I do before I do them.
I’m sorry, again!

Hey, no worries, I was just clarifying for everyone. ^_^

Same goes for me as well. It’s linked to my mental disables, so I ask for traditional ones so that I don’t misgender them, out of respect and decency.
